Pistol Dealer Grilled in Georgia Lynchings
J.T. "Old Tom" Long was questioned by a federal grand jury about the July 25, 1946 "Moore's Ford Lynchings". Long was a peddler from Good Hope, GA that was known to sell Owlhead pistols. Investigators hoped his testimony would connect his customers to members of the lynch mob.
